There are three positions in the City Treasurer’s office. Responsible for monitoring and overseeing the
City Financial and Treasury operations which includes general accounting, cash/investment portfolio
management, short & long-term debt management, preparation, implementation, and production of the
City’s Annual Report, assist in the preparation of the City’s Annual Budget, Accounts Receivable, Fixed
Assets, Business Registrations, and all City Utilities which consist of Water, Sewer, Storm, Parking and
Additional functions include the sale of dog licenses, managing and invoicing the LID assessment
program, managing the Low-Income Senior/Disabled Citizens Utility Rate Reduction program, and
assisting with questions regarding garbage service.

Temporary pause on late fees and service disconnects: While energy, telephone, and water utilities are currently banned from disconnecting service or charging late fees, per the Proclamation by the Governor 20-23:8, until the termination of the COVID-19 State of Emergency or October 15, 2020, whichever comes first, customers are still responsible for their unpaid balances. Once the ban ends, you will have to pay any amount that you owe or you could face service disconnection and/or additional charges.
